Carrying excessive weight drains you  			of energy and puts you at a higher risk for injury to your joints  			and muscles due to the added strain placed upon them. Even normal  			activities are harder to do when you are not fit. Lack of  			confidence, low self-esteem and depression are more commonly  			reported among unfit and unhealthy people.</p>
<p>Weighing more than health experts advise is not the only factor that  			can affect health and how long and well one can live. Poor  			nutrition, lack of exercise, negative thinking, risk-taking  			behavior, smoking, drug use, and drinking too much can also deliver  			a devastating blow to health and a long life.</p>
